One of my dearest friends and a very lovely lady has a huge passion for horses. For her business’ logo – Pandorra Business Management (http://www.managementpuzzle.ro/), she used the fiery silhouette of a horse.
Since I believe that wonderful people deserve the best of what anyone can offer, I wanted to surprise her with the mosaic interpretation of her logo.
From the second I saw it, I realized this was going to be very difficult. So, I had to improvise and adapt.
I ended up with two paintings: an antique-look one and a negative-look one.
The antique-look of the Pandorra Business Management mosaic was given by the choice of the grout – an off-white slaterred with different grey shades. It took a while to get here, having passed through different phases, but this was the best of all interpretations I could come up with.
At one point this looked like below, which you will have to trust me looks better in the picture than in reality. Also, the pictures of the latest version don’t do enough justice to the final piece.
The negative-look of the Pandorra Business Management mosaic was given by the combination of black and blue – original choice of colors of the business owner, as well, with whom I have to agree that is a fantastic color combination! Obviouslly, here I changed around the mosaic placement in the painting. Where it was supposed to be filled with mosaic, I left empty for the grout. Where it was supposed to be empty for the grout, I filled with mosaic.
This post will come as a surpise to my friend as well, as she has no idea I was planning on mentioning at all her business on my blog! If you ever need an expert business consultant, I highly recommend Pandorra Business Management. I am usually shy with recommendations, being quite picky myself, but I am sure you would not regret this one. This is my equivalent of word-of-mouth marketing, which is the best commercial, right?
Wishing you lots of wonderful projects from here on, as the ones you already did (the latest I participated at was “Opera but not too loud” with Vlad Mirita – one of the most original idea I came across and an unforgettable and incomparable night in the club)!
