A friend of mine has been building a brand in children’s shoes on the Romanian market for a couple of years now and she has done that with great success, if I may say so myself. The name of this brand, locally produced at European standards, is P.J. Shoes. Because she also appreciates my work, she asked me to make something out of mosaic that she can use at the fairs that she’s frequenting throughout Europe.
I started with 2 slipper-shaped small boxes and, as she expanded her collection, added a shopping bag. For their making I employed the brand’s distinctive colors, intenting to generate with my creations a cheerful disposition in the eyes of the beholder. Their utility is to hold business cards.
I personally find them quite adorable. What do you think?
