Another area mosaics apply is jewelry. I thought of giving it a try, so here is my 1st and only mosaic decorated pendant:
For this piece I used a wooden back and jewelry beads. The inspiration came from the little metal heart and evolved influenced by philosophical concepts on love.

Hi AdN – why do you say this is your one and only mosaic piece? I am really liking the intricate detail you have managed to capture with this mosaic. I am confident in saying you have a natural flair for detail – you should consider doing some more, perhaps a necklace?

Thank you David. I just feel mosaics are a bit heavy for jewelry, even though I just used materials that would anyway be used in a pendant. I saw many very nice mosaics made into necklaces / pendants by glass fusion… 🙂
